How lucky Steve and I were to have all of our children, their spouses, grandchildren,my parents and Paul and Joanne together for Christmas breakfast.
The food was great and the company even better. Thanks to Trey and Jenna for all their help.Mom and Dad for the fudge and cinnamon rolls,Julie for her yummy monkey bread,Brinton and Charlotte for the Naked Juice and Amanda and Brannon for la leche.
We enjoyed Christmas dinner at Brinton and Charlotte's. I really really liked that!
We have not been able to get everyone together for a nice professional family picture. I've decided that........ I love this picture! This is just us............!

!!!!!!!Brinton Graduates From ASU!!!!!!!!!

I am very proud to say that my son Brinton graduated from ASU today! He has worked hard going to school and working full time to financially support his family. I am very proud of this major accomplishment and for the wonderful person (husband, father, son, brother, friend, etc.)he has become. I also have to thank Charlotte for the love, support and hard work she has put in. She is a great wife and mother and has held down the home fort!

The Tradition Continues - Gingerbread Houses

Thanks to my Mom, Ina Wimsatt, our family has enjoyed the tradition of building Gingerbread Houses at Christmas time. Some things have changed.....my mom made her gingerbread houses from scratch for my brothers and myself and for her grandkids. I however visit CostCo and purchase my gingerbread houses. One thing remains the same and that is everyone has a great time!
Nixin will be into this next year.
Cote and Brexton enjoy the tradition as Brinton always has!

Notice the clever tie to keep Crew and Cole's roof on.
Welcome to our tradition Amanda!
Andel, Santa, Mrs C?
Miranda was able to make it, Yeah!
Martin is a pro.

When Arizona and Alaska Meet

Steve and I have some very good friends, Wandal and Martha Winn from Alaska. Wandal and Steve were roommates at BYU freshman year. Martha was also attending BYU. Once a year we try to get together for an adventure and this was no exception.

We started off meeting in Las Vegas for the show "O" at the Bellagio. It is always incredible.

Friday we headed to Zion National Park and did a little hiking (even Steve). The scenery was beautiful and we saw lots of deer and wild turkey. On the way in we stopped for lunch that ended with Bumbleberry pie, sort of a tradition. Friday evening I finally got to attend a concert at an amphitheater in the red rock near the entrance to Snow Canyon called Tuacan. It was so cold even with our stop at Wal-Mart for gloves, beenies and a blanket but I loved it anyway. We saw Peter Brienholt and Randy Shuppe.

Saturday we were able to visit with Darwin and Dorothy (Steve's dad) and we were able to wish him a Happy 94th birthday which is today 11/15/2009.

Saturday we were back in Las Vegas to see the Donny & Marie show. I actually held Donny's hand twice as he walked down our table. Back in the early 70's that would have thrilled me, OK so I was thrilled now! Great show that I highly recommend to everyone. Steve got great seats for both shows.

Back to work tomorrow. Enjoy the pictures!
